Favorite Bible Verse: so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.” 1 Thessalonians 2:8

Best Advice: “Eat the last cookie, do the thing, and dance like you’re a preteen who just learned how to nay-nay.”

Favorite thing about Phi Lamb: “When I was a new member, I was blown away by how much Phi Lambs cared and loved each other. Phi Lambs pulled me into their lives instantly and were absolutely pumped to have me. It was radical. These girls love their sisters well. The adventures we chase and the memories we make are my favorite things about Phi Lamb. We laugh and cry and dance until our feet hurt, and I wouldn’t trade my girls for the world.”

Fun Fact: “I recently gave myself whiplash after being called out and spotlighted while “Whip My Hair” played.”

Vice President Becky Brown

Favorite Bible Verse: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs 3:5-6

Best Advice: “Whenever you’re faced with a temptation, or a feeling of worthlessness, or an uncontrollable life situation, or really anything…identify what is true and what is a lie. The enemy is the king of lies and will do or say anything to get you from seeing the Truth of God.”

Favorite thing about Phi Lamb: “The love we have for God and each other.”

Fun Facts: “I spent 6 weeks in Russia over the summer teaching English to kids, I love learning new cultures and languages, I can wiggle my ears, I was in color guard in high school, I write poetry, and I like rapping (even though I’m not very good).”

Chaplain Kailey Carter

Major: Recreational Therapy

Year: Senior

Hometown: Broken Arrow, OK

Favorite Bible Verse: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who draws strength from mere flesh
    and whose heart turns away from the Lord. That person will be like a bush in the wastelands;
they will not see prosperity when it comes.
They will dwell in the parched places of the desert,
in a salt land where no one lives. But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
    its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17: 5-8

Best Advice: “Disconnect to connect. You’ll never get to know people if you are constantly engaged in your phone. With anything in life it’s a balance, but in the end the relationships you have are more important than keeping up to date on social media. For real ya’ll, some of the best moments I’ve had are the ones that I wasn’t trying to capture it just so I could post it. Sure showing everyone your life is a great thing, don’t get me wrong!  But live in the moment, it’s quite enjoyable!”

Favorite thing about Phi Lamb: “I honestly just LOVE phi lamb and all it has to offer, but my favorite thing about phi lamb is prayer group. Prayer group is such a great accountability, because you get to see those girls every single week and do life with them. It challenged me, opened my eyes and helped me to be vulnerable. Its such a beautiful picture of how Jesus did life with the disciples. He challenged them, opened their eyes and made them vulnerable. PG got me out of my comfort zone and pushed me to seeking Christ on a whole new level. It’s truly fantastic!”

Fun Fact: “I tripped at my high school graduation.”

Secretary Meagan Bourne

Major: Political Science

Year: Senior

Hometown: Marlow, OK

Favorite Bible Verse: “I fought a good fight, I finished the course, I kept the faith” 2 Timothy 4:7

Best Advice: “If you have to pick between pictures or chickens, always pick the chickens.”

Favorite thing about Phi Lamb: “All the memories I’ve made and the amazing girls. You can truly tell that God loves Phi Lamb and He has truly blessed each and every girl who is apart of it.”

Fun Fact: “I once got stuck in a pair of baseball pants and had to be cut out of them.”

Treasurer Shannon Haynie

Major: Agricultural Education

Hometown: Moore, OK

Favorite Bible Verse: “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stands, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.” Habakkuk 3:17-18

Best Advice: “Don’t judge people because you can’t be free if you judge people.”

Favorite thing about Phi Lamb: “The members, the community, the like-mindedness, and the freedom of expression.”

Fun Fact: “My favorite color is florescent beige.”
